Privacy Policy

Nexalume ("we", "our") is a single-player logic puzzle game. This policy explains what limited personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed Nexalume to work fully as a guest — you can play, earn XP and unlock packs without an account.
1. Data we collect
- Local progress: Your puzzle progress, XP, badges and settings are stored on your device (browser localStorage) and are not transmitted unless you sign in.
- Account data (optional): If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a unique user identifier. Sign-in is used solely to synchronise your progress across devices.
- Advertising: When adverts are shown, our advertising provider (Google AdMob) may process a device advertising identifier. See "Adverts" below.
- Diagnostics: If the app crashes, minimal error information may be transmitted to help us fix bugs. No puzzle answers or free-text input are logged.
2. How we use your data
- Deliver core gameplay and save your progress on your device.
- Synchronise your progress across devices when you sign in.
- Serve adverts and manage rewarded-hint requests.
- Diagnose faults and improve the app.
3. Adverts
Nexalume shows interstitial adverts between some puzzles and rewarded adverts when you request a hint. Adverts are provided by Google AdMob. If you turn off "Personalised advertising" in Settings, adverts are requested in a non-personalised mode. Advert availability may vary depending on the AdMob network response.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data. Limited data is processed by:
- Supabase (managed backend hosting our sign-in and progress-sync service).
- Google AdMob (advert delivery).
- Google and Apple (only if you choose to sign in via them).
5. Your choices and rights
- Continue as a guest — no account required.
- Reset all local progress from Settings.
- Delete your account and associated synced progress from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@nexalume.app.
6. Children
Nexalume is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Retention
Local device data is retained until you clear it. Account data is retained until you delete your account, after which it is removed from our systems within a reasonable period.
